Happy Monday! Time to start the week off with a great workout. Here’s a little motivation. Happy training!
I am a firm believer that diet plays an integral role in achieving a toned and fit body. I also believe that exercise plays an important role as well. That being said here is an ab workout that I did today:
- Crunch – 3 sets x 20 reps
- Tuck crunch – 3 x 20
- 90 degree crunch– 3 x 20
- Toe touchers – 3 x 20
- Plank – 3 x 30 seconds
- Side plank – 3 x 30 seconds (each side)
- Windshield wipers – 3 x 15 (1 rep = left touch and right touch)
- Dead bug – 3 x 15
- Bottoms up – 3 x 20
- Leg lifts – 3 x 20
** As always an example of each exercise is linked to the name
What’s your opinion?
Today I wasn’t in the mood to walk to the gym so I decided to workout in my apartment. In all honesty it got my heart rate up higher than normal. Sometimes I think changing up your workout from the norm can prove to be successful. I took to YouTube to find a cardio video and decided on Tae Bo Billy’s Bootcamp Cardio Inferno. By no means was this an easy workout and by the end I was feeling sweaty and great. Give it a try, go at your own pace and remember, “If you want to change your body, you first have to change your mind.”
Here is a great video to incorporate into your leg workout. The great song will definitely make squatting a bit easier!
Hello! It has been quite some time since I have posted anything. Sometimes life just gets in the way and there is never a moment for downtime. These past few months have been hectic and demanding, not always giving me the time I want to workout. Nevertheless, I am back and motivated to post new workouts, recipes and motivational pictures! One thing to always remember is that fitness is a lifestyle!
After about two weeks of no cardio I have decided that my Achille’s is feeling better…well enough to start doing cardio again. This may not be the best idea, but I need to get back into my routine. New workout posts to come soon!
